 Tommy Loons House in June

In my class there's

This boy named Tommy Loon

No one really likes him much

'Cause his head's shaped like the moon

His melon is round and cratered

Instead of hair he has a mop

His face is blue and gray

With a US flag on top

So you understand why I was hesitant

When Tommy asked me to his house

Because Tommy's family's home

Is inside a giant mouse

The mouses name is Cedrick

His mouth is the front door

To get inside you knock three times

Then you dance for more

I met his mom, she was a goat

His dad a parakeet

His brother was a quadraped

Who nibbled on my feet

The dog had a head for a tail

And a tail for a head

He was really quite a sight

The cat was a chain smoker

And asked me for a light

Grandpa Loon barged in slow

And cried with all his might,

"Whats with this tomfoolery?

"Which-one-a-you wants a fight?"

That was when I ran away

Down into Cedricks guts

They all came running after me

A family full of nuts

I ran down to the mouse's tail

And found only a dead end

Tommy's clan is getting close

Begging to be my friend

Suddenly I was brave

I took off with a start

Following where the blood went

Heading right for the heart

I ran right by the loons

Who missed me, you see

Because the inside of a mouse

Is very dark indeed

I ran right through the heart

Ventricles and all

I got to his head

And sat comfortably

In his eyeball
