Well, I've been married for less than 24 hours, and I'm proud to say that my wife Nurit (pronounced nor-EET) and I are very
happy, though I haven't seen her yet today.
At first marriage was just like graduating high school. There was
a big build up, and after it was over I didn't feel any different. What I wasn't prepared for was how much I would come
to adore this human treasure I call wife. She is truly a blessing.
I also was unprepared for how much
I would beat her. Nary a tick of the clock has passed that I haven't been forced to raise my hand to her. I have
my reasons.
I'd be looking at her, and she'd just start pissing me off, sleeping there. Next thing you
know, I'm whipping her with an extension cord.
I tell you one thing: marriage is good for cardio. I don't know who's
more worn out--me or her!
Well, I should go. Dinner's almost ready. At least, it better
be.
